Hi guys!

So sorry for the long pause in updates. We've all been SO busy with assignments and exams round the clock that there weren't much activities we could perform at and post about it. Well, seems like we're always busy with them aren't we? But worry not, end of the year is arriving soon! More gigs? We'll see...

Since there wasn't much of an introduction to this recent gig, here's a hopefully short update. We'll just put in the interesting points for easy reading:

• Nick got the invitation by one of the organizers for the dinner they were organising as part of a final project.
• It was themed Viva Vegas, hence the formal attire on Nick as you can see from the photo earlier.
• It was only our 3rd performance together as a full band now with Joe, and I dare say we're doing pretty well so far. Be sure to look out for more from us soon!
• During the performance, we added a fourth song at the very last minute from the response we got from the crowd. :)
• The crowd, or shall we say diners, were awesome! Especially the two who came to the front (watch the video and you'll get what we mean).
• Generally, it was hot - temperature wise.

Safe to say, we all had a blast performing for the Viva Vegas dinner at Segi College that night.

Sorry for the short hiatus, it has been a busy time for us especially with all the exams around the corner.

However, we did manage to take some time off and perform at a few places with our new singer Joe.
We went to Groove Junction Open Mic Night and Mardi Gras SyokShock Student Night recently, and it was a blast! More details later, alright?

Before Seafield Interact IU 2009 8:33 PM

Hey sorry the arrangement of post...
We wanted to update this before the Seafield Interact IU performance but we were too busy so here we go.

We went for jaming a few times and tried out a new singer. He is pretty good but we didn't think he was ready for the upcoming performance so we asked JP (brother of Jc the Drummer) to be our "part-time" singer since we used to perform with him.

We wanted to play more songs so we combined two songs - Secret Valentines by We the Kings and It Ends Tonight by AAR.

Also we gave our basist Ken a surprise with a birthday cake during one of our jamming sessions.

SMK Seafield Interact IU 2009

Hey guys, sorry for not updating for such a long time..
hmm.. well we just had a performance today at the SMK Seafield.
It was fun and we met some of our old friends there. We played a mixture song of Secret Valentine by We the Kings and It Ends Tonight by The All American Rejects.
Sound system was alright , enviroment was ok too but the crowd was a little shy and quiet.. haha...
Anyway we are happy that our brother band (Justin's band) performed there too and we heard that they rock it.. Great job guys! and we really look forward to perform together with u guys soon..We would love to thank Sin Ann too for helpin us in tis performance =) , lookin forward to meet u agin..
Anyway, the video of the performance will be uploaded really soon alright..
Will update more later..

We would like to appologize due to the activities of the band which have been cut down and oso tat we wont be performing for the Leo Iu of SMKSJ 2009 due to some special reasons.. haha anyway we stil hope to see u guys as soon as posibble and our vid for the performance at the interact iu and taylors college recently will be upload on youtube soon.. sorry for the inconvenience.. we will update u guys when its done =)

Interact IU SMKSJ 2009
Taylor's College Adventurace 2009

Whew.. We had to perform for those 2 events in ONE blardy day.. Haha.. Crazy! Let us share with you our day:

Sound check for the Interact IU SMKSJ was delayed due to the teacher's meeting which was held from, wait for it, 8am to 2pm. Swt.. So smart of them to hold a meeting on a day like this and they call them self 'teachers'. Summo so freakin long! Anyway we still managed to do our sound check but it was a fast 1 (and a softer one).

Finally able to soundcheck. Note us sitting down at the 1st pic.. Lol

During sound check and I don't remember what are we looking at, haha

Nick and Eugene (borh guitarist) also teamed up last minute with a talented singer to play an acoustic song (Taylor Swift-Love Story). Not having learned the song, they took a piece of paper with the tabs to song on stage. It was... Weird. =p

Next, came our performance, we wouldnt say it was bad (or good). The amplifiers for the guitars were quite 'cacated' and the crowd was a little 'shy'. haha.. Wasn't as happening as expected though.

Anyway after the IU, we headed to Taylors College for the 2nd performance. Oh yea, did we mention NOTHING went according to our schedule? haha.. We did our sound check and was pretty prepared, thank God.

The performance that night was a remarkeble 1.. We think it was not only the best performance ever but also the best audience ever.. We played 3 songs and without expectations we were asked to perform 1 more so we did.. haha it was a night we would neve forget. Or maybe till the next great night? =p

We love u guys and wil be lookin forward in seeing u guys!! haha =D

Anyway, after the performance that night, all of us were aching like mad! Drummer at his legs, guitarists at their hands and ken.. uhh.. well.. he say he din't ache wor. Songsang fella.. Nvm! haha.. Oh, and our first cam whore session was that night after being together for so long. =p

About Us 11:39 PM

Started plainly as an interest in the same kinds of music listening, Plug-in was then formed by four high school friends who started taking music classes together. The alternative pop-rock band today comprises of lead vocalist Joe, lead guitarist Nick, rhythm guitarist Eugene, bassist Ken and drummer Jc .

As their friendships continued to grow over the years throughout high school and college, so did the direction of the band and its dreams. After numerous changes of lead vocalists and collaboration vocalists, old time high school friend Joe finally joined the group to take the mike and complete the band.

Today, Plug-in plays for a variety of events and functions, from locations such as Mardi Gras, Groove Junction, and Taylor’s college.
